It's Tummy TIme!
Are you tired of the typical 'core' classes?
Then this class is for you
Core training is not crunches and sit-ups any more. That type of training is in the past.
Advanced Abs & A$$ will sculpt your tummy and push your tush to perfection.
It's not just about the Abs! This class is designed to help improve your overall performance. Specifically focusing on the stomach region, butt, and shoulders.
What to expect:
Class is 1 hour in Length. See a breakdown below. Instruction takes 5-10 minutes.
Not your typical abs class! You will not be doing crunches or sit-ups in this class. These types of exercises are ineffective for building true core strength. You will train in a multi-plane, functional atmosphere.
Spot Reducing is impossible. This will be a full body workout. The emphasis will be on the core, butt, and shoulders. Full body workouts with our interval system have been shown to burn 9x more body fat then regular 'cardio'. The workouts are designed to flatten your tummy and get that 6-pack!
Pre-Workout- A 5:00. Tissue Quality and Flexibility Training. This is the corrective part of the workout. Foam rolling and flexibility training is something everybody should be doing for recovery and overall feeling good. But I know most people won't or don't due to a number of reasons, the top one being time. After one session of this your body will feel better, and it will feel even better with each subsequent session. That is until you get to Pre-Workout section B :)
Pre-Workout- A 5:00. Flexibility Training. This isn't a nice relaxing stretchy time. NO! This is the time to change your body for the better. Stretching is done with bands and will change the way you think about stretching and what it can do for your performance in your workouts and in your life.
Pre-Workout- B 10:00. Isometric Mobility/Activation. Isometric exercises to warm-up the core, glutes, and hips for the work to come. Mobility and activation work to get the blood flowing to all the major joints and muscles. For some people this will seem like the actual workout, but we're just getting started.
Workout- AAA- Circuit Training to the MAX! Intervals and circuits will test your body to the limits. Goal is to increase the strength and endurance muscular systems, but will also give you an awesome metabolic workout (fat burning). Come prepared to work and get better each and every workout!
Finisher 5:00- Adrenaline Abs- This is metabolic and core training at it's most extreme. A short core exercise followed by a short conditioning exercise (if you've been to my classes before you know my favorite conditioning exercise :) The interval is super short which allows you to push harder then ever before, but you'll be gasping for air by the end. This 5:00 metabolic circuit is our final step of the workout to start the AFTERBURN effect of fat loss-- so when you go home to sit on your tush you'll still be burning fat!
Post-Workout- 5:00- We finish off with some more foam rolling and stretching and corrective work. This will also be the time for fitness and nutrition questions and we might even include a session of dancy or singy time :-)
This class is lower impact then our typical bootcamp class, but is more advanced. We don't recommend starting with this class if you've been inactive for a while or are considered a 'beginner' trainee.
Jumping is not common during these workouts
Alternates will be provided if you cannot perform the advanced version
Class programming/design is set up to improve hip and thoracic spine mobility and strengthen/burn fat off the whole body especially the abs, buttocks region, and shoulders. Will also eliminate or alleviate aches and pains in muscles, joints, tendons. Boost performance and reduce the risk of injury.
